Thank you for your interest in C I White and Associates (CIWA), the business I, Chris White, operate. I have been in the writing, editing, and coaching business for more than 25 years. Following a BA in psychology and a social work emphasis from the University of Oklahoma, I earned an MA in business and technical communication and a PhD in rhetoric and professional communication, both from the Iowa State University Department of English.

CIWA is a loose consortium of professional practitioners, most of whom are located in Central Iowa. My associates help me by contributing expert advice, consultation, and auxiliary services (such as graphics). I also rely on these people to help me meet deadlines by filling in when needed.
